Made this the other night but had to use two partial bottles of barbecue sauce (one bold and spicy the other hickory smoked) as that is what I had in the fridge and wanted to use up. I chose this recipe to disguise boneless, skinless chicken thighs so DH would eat them. He won't eat anything but white meat however; the cost factor is becoming a big issue these days. I am thrilled to say that he LOVED the chicken saying it was so moist, tender and flavorful. I now know I can fool DH and serve a dinner we all enjoy! The chicken was served over rice with a side of raw sugar snap peas.

Super-easy! I started mine late and so had to cook it on high (4 hours for one chicken breast). I salted and peppered the it lightly. I placed the chicken breast on a "bed" of onion slices, since I have had problems with my crockpot burning things in the past (it's an older one with the element on the bottom). The bed of onions worked, and made a nice little side dish with the chicken. Thanks, Swirly!
