This came from Thinner Times. I have not tried this, just posting for easy finding.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 12 cups water (liquid from cooking vegetables)
  • 34 cup skim milk powder
  • 1 12 tablespoons flour
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup chopped cooked meat or 14 cup poultry
  • 12 cup chopped cooked celery
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cooked onions
  • 14 teaspoon thyme

Directions

  1. Place veggie water in sauce pan.
  2. Combine skim milk powder, flour and salt. Sprinkle mixture over the liquid.
  3. Beat until mixed and smooth.
  4. Cook on medium heat until mixture thickens. Add celery, onion, meat and thyme.
  5. Blend in blender and then strain through sieve to remove any remaining pieces of food.
