Cream Puffs

12 cream puffs
ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 package Jell-O pudding mix, prepared
directions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Heat water and butter to a rolling boil, stir in flower.
- Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball (about 1 minute).
- Remove from heat, mix in eggs all at once until smooth.
- Drop 1/4 cup at a time on ungreased baking sheet, bake 35-40 minutes until golden.
- Cool completely.
- Cut off tops and pull out any soft dough from the inside.
- Fill empty puffs with your favorite pudding (I like chocolate).
- Replace tops and dust with powdered sugar.
- Refrigerate until serving.

These are time consuming, but well worth the effort! I used cook and serve vanilla pudding and prepared ahead of time so it could cool. I lost one of my puffs because it caved in while I was removing the filament. Be careful because the sides are thin! :) Instead of dusting with powdered sugar I made chocolate frosting. A little tricky with the two parts because you're basically frosting the lid back on, but patience is all you need:) They're actually a simple recipe as far as ingredients go and taste wonderul!
