  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and whites.
  2. In a medium size bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg; add the dry ingredients to the sugar mixture.
  3. Stir in oats, and vanilla, then chocolate chips, and cranberries - It will be very thick. Chill dough for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven 350°F.
  5. Roll a teaspoon of dough into a ball and place on an ungreased cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake 10 minutes.
  7. Cool on racks.
