Questions & Replies

  1. do you take each individual cinnamon roll and cut it into 8 pieces or do you buy the can of a trolls and just put them normal in the pan like you're just going to bake the cinnamon rolls

  2. Can I make this the night before?

  3. The directions say "cut each roll in 8 pieces". Does this mean to unroll them or leave them rolled and cut them?

  4. Can I pre make this and leave it in the fridge for a day or two?

  1. I'm giving a 5 even though I changed one thing. I left out the syrup. Otherwise, made as written and it was absolutely delish! I halved the recipe and used an 8X8 pan. Easy and would make a great brunch item.

  2. I made this casserole this morning. It was really very good. I didn't drizzle syrup over the top because I forgot, but it probably would have made it a bit better. I halved the recipe since there are only two of us. I used an 8x8 pan for the half sized recipe. When I served it, I topped it with some of the heavy cream that I had left over.

  3. Thank you! There is just the two of us, and I wanted to try this out before fixing for company. Well heck, we will be doing this one many times, no need to wait for company! I used the little Grands Cinnamon 5 roll, 17.5 Oz roll and it was perfect for two!

  4. Love it! Made it first time exactly as instructed. Made it second time and I added 1 pound of cooked breakfast sausage ( I used a roll of Jimmy Dean) to the egg mixture since I really love the sweet/savory combination. Will be making this often, I love breakfast at supper time and this will be perfect. Might add bacon or ham to mix it up for a change each time.

  5. Very good.. I skipped the pecans because i didn't have any but it was great without them.
