"This was a old recipe that my mother had when I was growing up. She made this for every cookout that we went to and we never got to bring any home. I could not find this recipe anywhere online so it thought that I would post this."

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Fry bacon and set aside.
  • In the same pan, brown the ground beef with the celery.
  • Dissolve bouillon cubes in the boiling water.
  • Stir all ingredients except the bacon together in a large dutch oven.
  • Cover and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  • Crumble bacon on top and serve hot.
