Love this old kiwi classic. Today I made 2 batches. One with the peanuts and one without the peanuts (for my daughters whom are 4 and under). When Mum first moved to Australia she made up may batches of these to give to all my Kiwi (and some Aussie) friends and always attached a copy of the recipe. Thanks Evie, always a winner.
This is an excellent recipe. Melt in your mouth. Me_be_Mindy was right. The dough is so good too. My dd's gobbled them up without breathing.
Oh my! I made these for the first time today and cheated and tasted a bit of the dough. Had to run next door to give my neighbour a taste. I'm positive that these will be an amazing hit at my Christmas party tomorrow, if they make it that long...
