  1. I was looking for an easy dessert to make and these bars fit the bill. My husband inhaled these and already wants me to make more. I used semi-sweet chocolate chunks this time, but next time I'm going to use toffee bits. I will always keep a box of vanilla cake mix on hand from now on. Thanks for posting!

  2. Made these over the weekend for our Superbowl party and they were a touchdown (I needed to make that pun!) Everyone commented on how it tasted almost like poundcake; very delicious and moist. I'm making more for my nephews this weekend. Thanks for this great recipe.

  3. I needed something sweet for my teenage sons friends over for dinner, they loved it! I was lucky to get a taste of it, this one is going in my keeper receipe file. Thanks!

  4. YUM! These were so easy to make.I used milk chocolate chips in place of the semi-sweet chips. My DH ate half the pan before I even knew it. I had planned on taking these to share at the lake this weekend but..... Guess I will need to make another batch another time. :) Thanks so much for sharing these delicious blondies!!

  5. These were great! I had a hankering for blondies but didn't have brown sugar or much time. The only changes I made was to scale it to a 340g cake mix - 75ml melted butter, 1 egg, 3/4 cup white choc chips. My cake mix was butter so I used 1 T of vanilla instead of the milk. Put it in a square 20cm pan. Great!
