Easy and delicious!
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 (680 ml) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1⁄2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Brown chicken in oil, in large skillet.
- Add spaghetti sauce. Simmer, covered, until chicken is cooked through.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Can also be served with pasta.
Delicious chicken and so quick and easy. I used chicken tenders to cut down on the cooking time, I placed the cooked chicken and sauce on top of a platter of noodles, then sprinkled with the cheese and served with garlic bread. Yummy! ETA: made for Spring 2012 Pick A Chef.
Simple, and easy. I used low fat cheese and cut the chicken breasts in half for smaller servings. No pasta and this made for a nice low carb meal! DH and I really liked this one. Thanks for sharing.
an incredibly easy and tasty meal. i used the thinly sliced chicken steaks (browned in oil as per the recipe) - mainly to speed up the cooking time. instead of fully cooking them in the sauce i placed them in an overproof dish, covered them with sauteed mushrooms, then the spaghetti sauce and finally sprinkled the cheese over. i put them in the oven for 20 minutes, covered with foil and they were perfect. served with broccoli and buttered noodles. fantastic!! thanks amberley.
