Chicken in Mustard and Wine Sauce

This recipe came with my package of Vegeta, an all purpose seasoning. It is similar to vegetable bouillon, so that could be used as a substitute if you cannot find Vegeta. Serve with boiled rice.

  1. Cut chicken into large pieces and season with Vegeta.
  2. Heat oil, in a large skillet, over medium high heat, and brown chicken on all sides; remove and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to low, saute green onions and garlic; add wine, return chicken, cover, and cook about 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in leeks and cook another 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in mustard, cream, and a little water, if necessary.
