- In 11x7 baking pan, melt margarine.
- Mix flour, 1 cup sugar, milk and baking powder.
- Pour over margarine.
- Do not stir.
- Pour pie cherries, with juice, over the flour mixture.
- Do not stir.
- Sprinkle with 3/4 cup sugar.
- Bake at 325* for 55 minutes.

FABULOUS! This was so easy to make that I'm going to have my 5 and 7 year olds make it next time! We had to substitute a lot of stuff so that it was gluten free (gf flour mix), dairy free (nut milk) and refined sugar free (honey) because we have celiac disease in our family, but it was still enjoyed by every person! This is very rare in our family for a dessert!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
