This pie is to die for! I let every bite just melt, it tastes amazing. The original recipe i had found long ago called for you to pour the entire cherry pie filling into the pie, but i did not like the texture and it just ruined the chocolateyness of it for me.

  1. Melt chocolate and butter together on the stove, stirring continuously so as it doesn't burn.
  2. Stir in cream cheese.
  3. Drain one cup of the pie filling and gently mix it together.
  4. Pour mixture into pie crust.
  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  6. After you can top with heavy whipped cream and/or use the rest of cherries to top the pie. I prefer just the cherries.
