A quick no yeast bread!
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 (12 ounce) can beer
- 1⁄2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1⁄2 cup canned diced green chiles
- 6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine, melted
- Mix together the flour, sugar, beer, cheese and chilies.
- Pour batter into a lightly sprayed loaf pan, making sure to fill the corners.
- Melt butter and pour over top of loaf.
- Bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes.
