Easy caramel sauce that I got from a friend.
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Combine all but vanilla, bring to a boil stirring constantly until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Refrigerate until ready to use, then microwave 30 sec to 1 min to soften and enjoy!
