- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄3 cup heavy cream
- 2⁄3 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups powdered sugar
directions
- Mix butter, cream, brown sugar, and salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat; add vanilla and gradually blend in powdered sugar until you reach the consistency you like.
