This is a great simple corned beef recipe.
- 1 large onion, cut into wedges
- 236.59 ml apple juice
- 1 bay leaf
- 1133.98-1360.77 g corned beef brisket, with spice packet cut in half (2 1/2 to 3 pounds)
- 1 small head of cabbage, cut into wedges
I also add a few
- new potato (optional)
- carrot (optional)
- Place onion in 5 qt slow cooker. Combine apple juice, bay leaf and contents of spice packet; pour over onion. Top with brisket and cabbage. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat and vegetables are tener. Discard the bay leaf before serving.
