T wanted to come up with a recipe that did not taste like Chill. Thru trial and error I came up with this soup or stew that looks like Chili and has some of the same ingredients. I used Heirloom red beans I found on the net but any dried beans will do. I hope you love this recipe.

  1. Soak beans overnight.
  2. fry the onion potato and bell pepper till onion starts to brown.
  3. add all liquid ingreidents.
  4. drain and add Beans and the rest of the ingredients.
  5. bring to a slow boil for 4 minutes.
  6. cut back Temperature to a slow simmer.
  7. Cook for 8 hours stirring every now and then.
  8. If you need more ligquid add Chicken Broth. If you need to thicken do so with flour.
