  1. Tried this for our tailgating at Angels game but we bbq'd these instead of cooking on the stove. I think I marinated too long because the sherry was really strong and we didn't care for that. The sauce is addictive and I brushed it on the shrimp while cooking and we also used it to dip the cooked shrimp in. Everyone loved that sauce. I added cilantro and red pepper flakes along with some garlic. Very good sauce - we will make this again but without the marinade. Thank you for posting!

  2. This has become my favorite method for making shrimp. I've tried to cut back on the butter to make it slightly healthier, but it just doesn't taste the same. I like serving this with a crusty bread to help sop up some of the fabulous sauce. Thank you for posting!

  3. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe Kansasjosh. We enjoyed this dish very much. The first time I made this shrimp dish I followed your recipe religiously. I must say they turned out GREAT. The second time I made this dish I added extra spices; crushed red pepper flakes, fresh thyme, fresh, crushed rosemary and fresh minced ginger and baked them in the oven at 450 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes. They were wonderful both ways.

  4. Wonderful!! and SOOO easy!! i did leave the tabasco out - i thought that might make this too hot to serve my kids! next time i will use it regardless. Thanks for the recipe!!

I'm a young single guy who likes cooking, but as much bachelor types, I only have so many spices and ingredients lying around. So that sorta limits my spontaneity with cooking. I'll try about anything, but really would like to amass my own cookbook of all my favorite recipes that are crowd-pleasers. Feel free to make suggestions.
