I found this loaf to be rather dry and did not require the amount of time listed in the recipe to cook it.I would assume that there is a type-o in the recipe and it calls for "1 cup" of rasins or nuts - rather then 1 raisin. I used walnuts - which did add a unique taste to it- but I will "play" with this recipe in order to help add a bit more moisture - perhaps reducing the cooking time or adding oil.

  1. Mix liquid ingredients.
  2. Add dry ingredients to liquid mixture.
  3. Add raisins and nuts if desired.
  4. Grease and flour pan.
  5. Bake at 350F degrees.
  6. for 60-70 minutes.
