- 118.29 ml port wine
- 78.78 ml balsamic vinegar
- 14.79 ml honey
- 14.79 ml finely chopped fresh thyme or 4.92 ml dried thyme
- 59.14 ml finely chopped shallot (1 large)
- 29.58 ml Dijon mustard
- 29.58 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1.23 ml salt, to taste
- fresh ground pepper
directions
- Combine port, vinegar, honey, thyme and shallot in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncover, for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and whisk in mustard; oil, salt and pepper.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
