Baker's One Bowl Brownies

"Recipe from the Baker's unsweetened chocolate box, using only unsweetened chocolate squares."

ingredients

• 4 baker's unsweetened chocolate squares, chopped
• 3⁄4 cup butter
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans (optional)

directions

1. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
2. Microwave chocolate and butter in a large microwavable bowl on Medium for 2 minutes or until melted.
3. Stir sugar into chocolate until well blended. Mix in eggs and vailla.
4. Stir in flour and nuts; pour into pan.
5. Bake in preheated 350F oven for 30 - 35 minutes or until done. Do not overbake. Cool completely.

This is one of the best brownie recipes ever. However, be aware that Baker's has reduced the size of the package. It now takes an entire package, which is only 4 oz to make the recipe. Each square is currently only 1/4 oz. I failed to figure that out a few batches ago and did not get good results. Thanks for posting!!

Baker's One-Bowl Brownie recipe has always been my go-to. But today I'm out of Baker's Chocolate, so I'm am subbing Ghiradelli's.
