    Finally found the right combination of spices for pork and without fat or carbos! This was great when served with a baked potato, green beans with a little dill and lemon.

      Add all spices and grind to powder (there will be large pieces in it, that is okay).

      Lightly dust one side of pork chop.
    3. 3
      Heat oil in skillet and brown both sides of pork.

      Lay onion in large baking pan with foil (large enough to create pocket).
    5. 5
      Cover onion with soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
    6. 6
      Lay browned pork chops on onion and dust with remaining spices.
    7. 7
      Fold foil to create pouch.
    8. 8
      Bake at 425°F for 30-35 minutes.

      Open and serve with onion and sauce!

      Both my wife and I loved this receipe. One suggestion .. loose the salt, the soy sauce is enough

      Excellent! The sauce was great. I left out the salt and it was perfect for us. I estimated the spices but the mixture was wonderful. It smelled sooooo good, was tender and juicy. The sauce reminded me of french onion soup. Thanks for a great recipe!

      What an easy recipe. My only addition was a couple shakes of sage, DH loves sage on pork! The baking time was right on and the sauce was wonderful spooned over the chops. Thanks.
