Very easy and quick if you use the microwave - have prepared both ways. A family favorite. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for a few days - great for lunch at work the next day!
- 2 cups white rice
- 1 (40 g) package dry onion soup mix
- 1 (284 ml) can mushrooms (pieces and stems, with juice)
- 3 cups water
- 1⁄4 cup soya sauce
- 1⁄4 cup oil
- Bring water to a boil.
- Mix all ingredients in a caserole dish, stir well.
- Cover and bake in conventional oven for 1 hour @ 350F or microwave for 20 minutes on high power.
