Water chestnuts are one of my most favorite things to eat in the whole world!!! And in my opinion everything is better with bacon!


  1. Roll water chestnuts in brown sugar, packing sugar.
  2. roll water chestnut into half slice of bacon, roll in brown sugar again, packing as much sugar as possible.
  3. Secure with a toothpick.
  4. Bake in a shallow pan at 300 degrees for 2 hours or until sugar caramelizes.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve warm.
