- 4 boneless pork chops
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1 lb golden delicious apple, peeled,cored,and sliced thin
- 2⁄3 cup apple cider or 2/3 cup apple juice (divided use)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
directions
- Season chops with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Heat oil to medium high in a large skillet.
- Brown chops on both sides.
- Reduce heat to medium and add apples, cider/juice, and brown sugar.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
- Meanwhile, mix cornstarch and remaining juice/cider.
- Remove apples and chops and keep warm on a platter.
- Whip cornstarch mixture into pan juices and stir until thickened.
- Spoon sauce over chops and serve!

I LOVE TO COOK! Which I just pickes up about 4 yrs ago, when I became a mommy. I used to think it was a chore and I hated even the thought of it. I wish I could Bake more...I cant BAKE AT ALL! I will have to practice on that one.
