Say 'chutney' & I'm willing to look at it! Say 'apricot' as well, & I'm hooked! Followed the recipe right on down on this one (pretty much!), finely mincing the onion, using dark raisins & a generous teaspoon of zest! Combined with cream cheese & a nice variety of crackers, & this chutney was gone in no time! ABSOLUETLY NICE! Thanks for sharing a great recipe! I enjoy cream cheese spread on crackers and this chutney was a nice addition. Didnt have fresh ginger on hand so I used powdered and a granny smith apple. Next time I will use onion powder instead of fresh onion as I didnt care for the pieces of onion in the chutney. Will try this soon with grilled pork chops or chicken breast.
