Great on pancakes, also great as a topping for cottage cheese or frozen yogurt.
- 2 cups unsweetened apple juice
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons lime juice
- Combine apple juice, brown sugar, cornstarch, salt and nutmeg in saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook, stirring occasionally, 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Stir in lime juice.
