  • Preheat over to 325 degrees. Butter a 8x8 pan.
  • Melt butter in microwave.
  • Using a fork, mix in 2 eggs. Then add in flour, sugar, almond extract.
  • Pour into pan. Top with the almonds. Make for 45 minutes.
  • When cool, you can dust the top with confectioners sugar. Instead, I use 3-4 tablespoons of confectioners sugar and added amaretto to create a glaze and drizzle that on top.

  1. I absolutely love this so much but have recently been told I am allergic to eggs. I have ruined so many batches that I have started trying it with only half batches to not waist so many ingredients. Can I simply leave out the eggs? I have trie substitutes and just end up with a mess.
