- 1 cup butter
- 1⁄4 cup Wesson Oil
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 8 ounces 7-Up soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
directions
- Cream butter, oil and sugar.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Add flour and 7-Up; mix well.
- Add flavorings and mix again.
- Pour in greased and floured tube pan.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours (or until cake tests done).
