Olive cheese Puffs

"I got this recipe from a fellow Texas Aggie. Whoop! While working at a veterinary clinic in Colorado, my aggie friend would stop by with a warm tray of these yummy appetizers. They didn't last long. Surrounded by dog bones & cat treats, the staff welcomed these much needed human treats. A very simple & delicious recipe."

  1. ...but, a real Texan adds paprika!!! Then they're perfect.

  2. My husband and I made these last night - a half batch. We cooked half and froze half (so we could test whether or not these were good candidates for make ahead appys). Both ways were excellent! We cooked the fresh batch for 18 minutes and we cooked the frozen batch for 20 minutes. These are going to be served at our christmas party this year! I loved the crust on these and think I could just make some without the olives too! Thanks for posting.

  3. oh yes! I'll be making this recipe a lot. I loved the cheesy crust with the olive surprise inside. Great with drinks.
