  1. There's nothing like the smell of bread baking! This recipe smells heavenly. Nice texture, with a slightly sweet taste but not over-powdering. Can't wait to try it with peanut butter! I know this will also make great toast! Thanks for a great new bread recipe, Barb!

  3. A little salty. I have a recipe for oatmeal sweet bread that I may be able to combine with this one to make an outstanding bread. But this recipe did give me a clue as to what I am looking for in a good wholesome bread.

  4. I made a loaf of this wonderful bread earlier today, practically stood by the ABM waiting for it to come out! The only change made was that I had to use Golden Syrup in place of Molasses (as I didnt have any). I used normal oats. The loaf rose beautifully in the pan, and it has a lovely texture. I plan to make this bread (and other healthy ones too) for my kids lunchbox sandwiches, I am trying to get them on healthier foods and cutting out the processed breads. Thank you Barb, your recipe is an absolute winner with me :)

  5. This is a tasty moist bread. It wasn't as fluffy as other oatmeal breads that I have tried. I think it is a great bread for toast for breakfast. Thanks for another great, and healthy bread machine recipe.
