ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat
- 1 quart canned tomato
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 3 sliced garlic cloves
- 1⁄2 cup sliced celery
- 1⁄2 tablespoon salt
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1⁄2 tablespoon chili pepper flakes
- 3⁄4 teaspoon cumin
- 3⁄4 teaspoon cocoa
- 3⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons chopped and seeded pickled jalapeno peppers
- 1 tablespoon chopped and seeded canned chipotle chile
directions
- Brown meat with onion, garlic and celery. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 1/2 hour.
