SHRED MIX
- 6 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
- 1⁄2 sweet onion, finely sliced
- 1 large carrot, coarsely grated
- 1 stalk celery, finely sliced
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 tablespoon dried chives
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon black pepper, coarsely ground. (to taste)

DRESSING
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 1⁄4 cup yellow mustard or 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tablespoon white sugar or (1 g) packets Splenda sugar substitute
- 1 tablespoon salt (to taste)
directions
- Combine shred mix ingredients thoroughly. Cover and set aside while preparing dressing. Mix dressing ingredients until sugar and salt are incorporated. In a 3 quart mixing bowl slowly combine dressing and shred mix until quite wet. Cover and place in refrigerator for 24 hours. Enjoy with BBQ, hamburgers, hotdogs of any favorite meal.
