Crock Pot Chicken Tetrazzini

"Simple and yummy. I often skip the almonds, although they add a nice crunch. You can use fresh or canned mushrooms, whatever suits you. I've been known to use mixed vegetables in place of the peas. Hey, anything to get the kids to eat veggies, right?"

  1. Hi, are the 2 1/2 cups of spaghetti supposed to be raw or cooked before hand? I assume cooked?

  2. Hey Chef MB I made this yesterday - it was terrific! I used cream of chicken/celery and cream of mushroom soup, added a pinch of thyme and ground pepper and it was a huge hit at my house ! Great for freezing too ! I need more crockpot chicken recipies if you have them! Thanks! Lynn

  3. This recipe is delicious and I will make it again but to whoever makes this in the future, DO NOT go by the quantity of spaghetti that the recipe calls for. It has got to be wrong! I doubled this recipe and only ended using 2 cups (16 oz. package) of spaghetti. It was still a tad bit too much but worked out just fine. I could tell when I was making this that there was not going to be enough liquid ingredients to add all of the spaghetti that this recipe called for. Sooooo. If I were to make this recipe as it is and not double it I would start out with only 1 cup of spaghetti. Since the pasta expands you can kind of eye it and see if it will be enough when you add it. Also, After my spaghetti got done I added a little more cream soup and broth so it wasn't so thick and that made it perfect. Thank you for posting this recipe. It would have gotten 5 starts if it were not for having a problem with the ingredients. Great recipe though!
