This is a great recipe. We love it. I used my 8 inch round cast iron pan which I heated in the oven with oil for about 15 minutes. With my cast iron hot, I poured the batter in. The beautiful sizzling sound told me I was getting a nice crispy edge. I then cut the temp back to 350 degree and baked it for about 25-30 minutes. I know I'll be making this again tomorrow. Easy and delicious.~~~

OH MY GOODNESS! My family loved this recipe! The kids only wanted the cornbread, but had to be persuaded to eat some of the other food as well. Later on (since I happened to make a double batch for company), the kids wanted this cornbread instead of a cookie. I had no arguments there. We all sat around and shared another cornbread muffin, since they're easier for little fingers to hold. THANK YOU for the new recipe request!

Part time office worker, full time servant to 2 growing boys, and 1 wonderful husband! I work for my husband so i quess you could say i'm sleeping with my boss! I love to eat. While i'm eating 1 meal, i'm thinking about what i want to eat at the next meal. I could just live on sweets, and take a pill for all my vitamins, and nutrition. I have no strong passions other than being quite lazy. I strive to be more physically active, but that usually requires me to move. I quess i would rather die happy and slightly overweight, than skinny and hungry.
