My husband and I have three children ages 13, 10,and 6. I was raised by my grandma on a farm and learned almost everything I know from her. I am lucky to have a husband who supports me in being a stay at home mom. This allows me to be active in my childrens schools. I enjoy making almost all of the food my family eats from scratch, bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, roasts, etc. My friends jokingly say that I run the neighborhood soup kitchen. You just never know who is going to show up for supper and we always have room for one more. My favorite cookbook is an Amish cookbook I bought in Kalona IA, a large Amish community.
