  1. This is very good. It’s almost identical to my favorite cheese ball recipe. The only difference is that I use one bottle of Kraft Roka Blue cheese spread and one bottle of Kraft Old English. I use this cheese spread as the base to all my cheesy casseroles such as cheesy potatoes and macaroni and cheese! Great Recipe :o)

  2. My family has been making this cheese ball for over 50 years now for the holidays and it has become the most requested appetizer from family and friends. The only difference in this recipe is that we have always used 2 packages of Kraft Old English Cheese Slices, softened and then diced very small. The Kraft Company recently changed the name a couple of years ago to Kraft Deli Deluxe Sharp Cheese Slices. It gives a better texture (not as soft) to the cheese ball. I also started mixing 1/4 of the walnuts and parsley mixture in with the cheese and then roll the cheese balls with the remaining walnut & parsley. We also give these as gifts along with a box of Sociables Crackers & a cheese knife. The Sociables Crackers for some reason really go well with this cheese ball. I've tried others and nothing compares and everyone agrees. One more thing, I always double or sometimes triple the recipe during holiday's. Wrap in plastic wrap, then foil and put in the freezer (which keeps very well) It takes a couple of hours to de-thaw, which makes it perfect for spreading. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

  3. This was wonderful------and so easy! I used sliced almonds (roasted) instead of the pecans and skipped the parsley because I did not have any.Instead of making 2 large cheese-balls I made 4-5 smaller ones. Yum!

  4. This is the best cheeseball. This must be the same one my mom makes, which is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't roll it in any walnuts, because the walnuts were too expensive ($8!!), but is still good without.

  5. I use to make this years ago and I lost the recipe. I so glad you posted this-it if so good. A keeper and now I know it will be safe on zaar. Thanks Heather.
