- 1 1⁄2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 (3 ounce) package red gelatin
- 3⁄4 cup strawberry juice or 1 cup cold water
- 16 ounces frozen strawberries
directions
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar, and melted butter in bowl. Pat into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool completely.
- Mix together softened cream chese and 1 cup sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust and refrigerate.
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Mix in strawberry juice or cold water. Add in strawberries. Allow mixture to thicken some in refrigerator before spreading over cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate dessert ovenight or until gelatin layer is set.
