ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 lb prosciutto, cut (sliced thick and cut into small cubes)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
- 1⁄2 cup vodka
- 1⁄4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
directions
- Simmer the Proscuitto in the olive oil until the proscuitto is changes color slightly.
- Add the garlic and red pepper and cook until garlic is golden.
- Add the can of crushed tomatoes and bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and vodka and bring to boil then reduce heat to low
- Stir in the parsley and leave on low head until you're ready to server with your favorite pasta. Mangie!
