- 1⁄4 cup cocoa powder
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 4 cups nonfat milk
- vanilla-flavored syrup
directions
- Measure cocoa and sugar into a saucepan with about 1/2 cup milk.
- Heat over medium heat and whisk until cocoa becomes smooth.
- Add remaining milk and heat until steam rises and bubbles form around the edges.
- Do not boil.
- Ladle into mugs and drizzle with Vanilla Syrup recipe #56460.

What a brilliant recipe this is! It's a beautiful day in Oman today - the weather is awesome. We had a sudden rainfall that was out of this world, couple of minutes, and the place has become as pretty as the wings of a butterfly:) I made this a little after the rainfall, and everyone who drank it, went ooh and aah over it;) It's really good, and, I feel the vanilla syrup is very necessary if you want to enjoy this best.
