"This is a nice change for adult popcorn. I think I would use low sodium soy or unsalted butter."

  1. This is a great base for a new way to eat popcorn as a snack, but I did think it was very peanut buttery and needed some lime and more hotness to balance out the flavors. It was really good with the additions, and not salty for me (I used low sodium soy sauce and natural peanut butter).

  2. Nice, different POP-corn treat :) great sauce with nice flavors...I used homemade nut butter with chopped chunks added, soy margarine and Braggs amino...used my own red-pepper flakes (dehydrated from last summers garden) and added TONS (my taste runs to spicy)...oh yeah used hot air popped corn and let the heat run as I poured the sauce ...next time I will probably add a bit of honey to the peanut sauce (ya-know to maybe make it "sticky-er" )...Thanks for the recipe share...

  3. Great movie snack! DH and I enjoyed this alot. It was a little salty for me, but that doesn't mean it will be for others. I love the peanut butter and spicy-ness together! Thanks for posting.

My passions: faith, family, food, and anything family history related. Almost nothing I like more than to chase headstones of my dearly departed ancestors. I've been working on a family cookbook for almost 2 years. (Need to figure out how I want to actually print it.) Enjoy learning about how what I grew up eating relates to my ancestors from Croatia and Alsace primarily. Enjoy following and forming new traditions within the walls of my home. Some would say I lead a very boring and mundane life. I would say it's just what I ordered. I have the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom - which is what I truly love. Feel it's the best calling anyone could ever have. I've truly been blessed!
