  • 1 - 1 12 lb boneless pork or 1 -1 1/2 lb boneless chicken breast
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon oil (I use canola oil )
  • 23 cup peach preserves (sugar free if desirsed )
  • 1 (16 ounce) bottle chunky style salsa (mild or hot depending on your taste )

directions

  • Cut meat into 3/4 inch pieces and place in zip loc bag. Pour taco seasoning in and coat meat well with seasoning.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat and brown meat, stirring occasionaly.
  • Add salsa and peach preserves to skillet. Stir well and lower heat, cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
