ingredients
- 2 (30 ounce) bags frozen cubed hash brown potatoes, slightly thawed
- 1 (10 2/3 ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 1 (10 2/3 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 1 medium diced onion
- 1⁄4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
directions
- Combine all ingredients reserving 1 cup of the shredded cheese. Pour into baking dish sprayed with non-stick spray. Top with reserved cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until top is golden brown.

I found this to be an interesting & satisfying way to use hash browns, & in this recipe they are very tasty, indeed! Easy to prepare, too! I did, however, cut the recipe in half, as there were only 4 of us around to eat it! Thanks for this great way to prepare these 'taters!
