  • Combine the two sugars, water, allspice, ginger, cloves and cinnamon in a 4-cup glass measure.
  • Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stir.
  • Add pumpkin and microwave on high for 5 minutes.
  • Let cool and refrigerate.
  • This will keep for several weeks in the refrigerator or can be frozen.
  • Note: Use this as you would apple butter, or try adding it to whipped cream and garnish a pumpkin pie.
