This is from Better Homes and Garden's Casserole Recipes cookbook; my grandma gave it to me years ago and it's the only recipe in it that I've ever made more than once (I've made it dozens of times). I use hot chili beans instead of the pinto beans, and use much more cheese and Fritos than written. For my family (DH and two boys) I always double it and it generally gives us one hearty dinner and a snack for my kids.

A beauty of a recipe! I asked for recommendations at 'recipe requests' for what to do w/ground beef that needed to be used, Neta recommended this recipe(you Zaarians are great)This really hit the spot. I used black beans instead of pinto and topped w/taco sauce. We enjoyed ours by serving w/additional corn chips to dip into the chili bake. Thanks Miss Diggy-hope you are spoiling your new baby right to pieces!
