ingredients
- 1 lb ground sirloin
- 2 teaspoons crushed garlic (from a jar)
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1⁄2 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1⁄2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)
directions
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and form into patties.
- Grill 6 minutes on each side or to your preference of cooking. This makes medium rare burgers.

Both my parents were always cooking, mom baked and dad did everything except baking. Some of my recipes come from my grandmother, Nell, but have been updated. The rest fly out of my head in the middle of the night...or are things I have seen in magazines, cookbooks and on TV twisted around to my liking.
