Very quick to put together and taste so lovely - sometimes it's the simple things that really are the best! :-) This is the first recipe I found for snickerdoodles and I haven't tried another one yet! I substitute margarine for shortening (as shortening is not available here), use a 1-inch cookie scoop, and parchment paper on the cookie sheet - in my oven exactly 8 minutes is the perfect cooking time. Thanks for posting!

My all time favorite thing to do is cook and bake. My love for cooking began my first year at college. It has grown into an obsession with recipes. Fortunately, my husband is supportive :) I love the Taste of Home magazines. Most of the recipes I try from their publications are outstanding. I also enjoy running long distances and exercising.
