Sliced Apples With Cinnamon and Lemon Juice

- 2 apples, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
directions
- Heat butter in skillet.
- Sauté apples in butter, over medium low heat, 1-2 minutes until beginning to soften.
- Sprinkle apples with cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice.
- Continue cooking until apples are soft lightly browned and most of the liquid is evaporated.
- Arrange apple slices on plates and sprinkle brown sugar.
