Simple Chili

INGREDIENTS

  • salt and pepper (to taste)

    (1 ounce) package chili seasoning mix (I use McCormicks, usaually)
  • 1
    (12 ounce) can French onion soup
  • 1
    (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1
    (5 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 3
    (15 ounce) cans beans (light or dark red kidney or pinto, or a mixture of both)

DIRECTIONS

  • Brown ground beef seasoned with salt and pepper (drain).
  • add all other ingredients and simmer for up to 30 minutes.
  • I always add everything to a crockpot and cook on low for several hours.
