  • In large stock pot cook beef and 1/2 cup onions in butter til beef is browned.
  • Add all other ingredients and bring to boil.
  • Cover and simmer 30-45 minutes til all vegetables are tinder.
  • I've been known to add more beef broth, tomatoes and spices if I think its needed for taste or to thin broth.
